Dr. Sapru, Dr. Fairweather and the team at Better Image Dentistry are pleased to offer beautiful smiles to their friends and neighbors in Bridgewater and the surrounding communities.
Dr. Sakshi Sapru DDS
Dr. Sakshi Sapru has been a practicing dentist since 2011. She graduated with her DDS degree from New York University and specializes in Restorative, cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign orthodontics and Full mouth dental Implants.
She is a keen enthusiast for continued education and is a core member of the prestigious Spear Education program that trains dentists on advances in aesthetic, implant, and restorative dentistry. She applies the latest research & advances in dentistry and has authored a number of Dental research paper publications.
Dr. Sapru is a patient listener, who takes the time to explain treatment options to her patients for the best possible care and takes pride in bringing back smiles to her patients.
She is an active member of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and American Academy of Clear aligners.
Outside the office, she is a proud Mom enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, enjoys music and loves to hike.
Dr. Fairweather, DMD, FIDIA
Dr. Fairweather has taken numerous postgraduate education courses, including reconstructive and cosmetic dentistry at the prestigious Dawson Institute.
He has specific training in both implant placement and restoration, so most patients can get the entire implant procedure done right here. His ongoing education also includes endodontics, reconstruction, and more, allowing him to incorporate these treatments into the practice and give you the smile you've always wanted.
A Gold Plus Invisalign™ Provider, he has been published multiple times in the exclusive Journal of the American Academy of Clear Aligners. He also runs a study club for other Invisalign doctors. In 2018,
Dr. Fairweather was named to the board of the American Academy of Clear Aligners, the fastest-growing dental association in North America. Because active community participation doesn't stop with providing excellent dentistry, the practice participates in the Agape House for Women and Children and the Feeding Hands Pantry of Somerset County.
Dr. Fairweather and his wife Judy have five beautiful children and three grandchildren, and in his spare time, he enjoys skiing and travel with his family.

Do I really have to go to the Dentist frequently?
How often you go for dental exams depends on your oral health needs. The goal is to catch small problems early. For many people, this means a dental exam every six months. Your dentist may suggest that you visit more or less often depending on how well you care for your teeth and gums, problems you have that need to be checked or treated, how fast tartar builds up on your teeth, and so on.
Do I need x-rays at each visit?
How often you need to have x-rays also depends on your oral health. A healthy adult who has not had cavities or other problems for a couple of years probably won't need x-rays at every appointment. If your dental situation is less stable and your dentist is monitoring your progress, you may require more frequent x-rays.
How can I get my records transferred?
Original dental records belong to the dentist who provided the treatment, and not the patient, because dentists have to keep all of their records for a period of time, as set out by their provincial dental regulatory body. Once you have selected a new dentist, you can request that a copy of your records be transferred from your former dentist.
